EMERGENCY CLAUSE ADOPTED 4-20-26 Ordinance No. 9347 Passed April 20, 2026 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE UTILITIES DIRECTOR TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY FOR EXTERIOR PAINTING OF THE CARTER PARK WATER TOWER AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOWLING GREEN, OHIO THAT: SECTION 1: The Utilities Director is hereby authorized to sign an agreement with Bowling Green State University for exterior painting of the Carter Park Water Tower. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect as an emergency measure. The reason for the emergency is that the prompt effectiveness of this measure is necessary in order to maintain the project schedule, and thereby protect the public health, safety and well-being of our citizens.
