INVITATION TO BID SEALED BIDS for the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of the WOO-TR98-0.74 BRIM ROAD SHARED USE PATH PID # 117184 will be received by the City of Bowling Green, Ohio at the office of the Municipal Administrator, in the City Administrative Services Building, 305 North Main Street until 2:00 PM LOCAL TIME THURSDAY, JANUARY 29, 2026 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. This project consists of constructing approximately 8,100 feet of 11 foot wide shared use path from Bowling Green High School to Van Camp Road and along Van Camp Road and Brim Road. The Engineer's Estimate for This project is $1,125,000.00 with a completion date of September 30, 2026. The project is funded in part by a Federal Highway Administration federal funding program administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this PROJECT. Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction. The contract documents, including plans and specifications, are on file at the office of the City Engineer, 305 North Main Street, 1st Floor, Bowling Green , OH 43402. Documents may be viewed and ordered online or obtained from Becker Impressions, 4646 Angola Road, Toledo, OH 43615, Telephone: 419-385-5303, www.beckerplanroom.com . A non-refundable deposit will be required for each set of plans and specifications. The cost is to be paid to the printing company at the time the documents are picked up. Shipping and tax charges are the bidder's responsibility and payable directly to Becker Impressions. All bids shall be signed and submitted on the blanks which are bound in specifications. Bid blanks shall not be removed from the specifications. Bids shall state the unit prices on the blanks provided & shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked- WOO-TR98-0.74 BRIM ROAD SHARED USE PATH PID # 117184 - and addressed to the Municipal Administrator, Second Floor, City Administrative Services Building, 305 North Main Street, City of Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Each bid must contain the name of every interested person, firm, or corporation and be accompanied by a bid guaranty to the City of Bowling Green as described in the contact documents. The bid guaranty may be two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid using the forms provided in the specifications. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashiers check or letter of credit in favor of the City of Bowling Green in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. The Successful Bidder will be required to submit an affidavit to the City Finance Director that they have no delinquent personal property taxes charged against them on the general tax list of personal property in Wood County, Ohio, at the time this Bid was submitted. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory bid guaranty, will neither be read nor considered. The Successful Bidder and any and all Sub-Contractors must comply with the provisions of the Ohio Revised Code, Chapter 4115, and will be required to enter into a separate Public Improvement Agreement with the OWNER prior to the execution of the Contract Documents. A sample copy of said Public Improvement is included in the bid documents. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time fo the receipt of bids. The City of Bowling Green, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bid. Lori J.
