NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED BIDS will be received by the Troy Township Trustees, of Troy Township, Wood County, Ohio at the Township Office located at 237 Krotzer Avenue, Luckey, Ohio 43443 in said Office until July 9, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. for the performance of all labor and the furnishing of all materials, tools, machinery and appliances necessary for the construction of the Troy Township Resurfacing Project in accordance with the Plans and Bid Documents. All bids shall be signed and enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “Troy Township Resurfacing Project” and addressed to the Troy Township Trustees. Each bid shall contain the name of each person, firm or corporation interested in same and must be accompanied by either a bid bond to the satisfaction of the Troy Township Administrator, or a certified check on a solvent bank, in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Bid, made payable to Troy Township as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The project consists of resurfacing Lemoyne Rd, Rail Road St, and SW Access Road in Troy Township, Wood County, Ohio The Plans and Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of the Troy Township Fiscal Officer, Laura Abke, 237 Krotzer Avenue, PO Box 128, Luckey, Ohio 43443, 419-833-5111, ttfiscal@amplex.net Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wood County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Bureau. Bidders shall submit with this Bid the Affidavit required under Ohio Revised Code Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Wood County, Ohio and the Affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code Section 3517.13. Bids received after the scheduled Bid opening date and time or not accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond or Check, will not be read or considered. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond, Maintenance Bond, and Certificates of Insurance. Troy Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the most favorable to Troy Township. Troy Township also reserves the right to add or subtract from the quantities shown in the proposal.
