NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS 5575 R.C.O. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Township Trustees of Milton Township, Wood County, Ohio, will receive sealed bids until the 12th of May 2026 at 7:30PM for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, machinery, and equipment necessary for improvement of various township roads, all accordance with the estimate as prepared by the Wood County Engineer, to wit: 1. Tar and chip approximately 3 miles of roadway Further information as to plans, specifications, estimates, etc. may be obtained by contacting said Board. Proposals for bidding may be obtained at Township Fiscal Officer’s home or calling 419-276-0475. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check equal to Ten (10) percent of the amount of the bid. All bids shall be signed by a properly authorized person of the company or firm submitting the bid; all bids shall be sealed and plainly marked: “SEALED BID FOR Milton Township Roadwork-2026.” Such proposals shall be filed with the Milton Township Fiscal Officer whose address is 19441 Mermill Road, Rudolph, Ohio 43462. The successful bidder shall be required to give a performance bond in the amount of the contract as accepted. The said Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted. Bids for such improvement will be opened and read by the Board of Trustees at the office of the Township Trustees during a regular meeting held at 07:30PM on the 12th of May.
