Request for Bids WOOD COUNTY REGIONAL AIRPORT AUTHORITY Sealed bids will be received until 11:00 a.m. (local time), Thursday, January 15, 2026 and then publicly opened and read in the Terminal of the Wood County Regional Airport, 1261 E Poe Rd, Bowling Green, OH 43402 for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment, and performing all work necessary for the project AIRCRAFT STORAGE HANGAR at the Wood County Regional Airport. Work items include 12,000 sf Aircraft Storage Hangar with associated taxilane and apron earthwork, drainage, and asphalt pavement. A non-mandatory but highly encouraged Pre-Bid meeting will be held Tuesday January 6, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Airport Terminal Building. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the amount stated and payable to the order of the Owner. The bid security shall be in the form of either A . A bid bond for the full amount of the bid issued by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Ohio, or B. A certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit made payable to Wood County Regional Airport Authority. Letter of credit shall be revocable only at the option of the Owner. The amount of the certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit shall be equal to ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the bid. Bids may be held by the Wood County Regional Airport Authority for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The right is reserved, as the Airport Authority may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received. This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the US Department of Labor. The requirements of 49 CFR Part 26, Regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation, apply to this contract. It is the policy of the Wood County Regional Airport Authority to practice nondiscrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin in the award or performance of this contract.
