LEGAL NOTICE Bids will be received via the Bid Express website at www.bidexpress.com until 2:00 PM on November 7, 2024 , and then publicly opened in the Engineering Conference Room, 127 West Fifth Street, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 for the furnishing of necessary labor and materials for the following: WWTP DIGESTER IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE 2 In general, the work consists of a new fixed cover digester, a new membrane digester cover, new boilers and heat exchangers, and improvements to the digester gas and sludge piping. Bids must be submitted via Bid Express at www.bid express.com using the electronic forms furnished by the City. Paper and fax copies will not be accepted for bid submittal. Free registration with Bid Express will allow a bidder to review and print all project plans. A digital ID along with a per bid fee or monthly subscription will be required for bidders to submit an electronic bid. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of a Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Letter of Credit payable to the City of Perrysburg, Ohio, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) on the contract price will be required as part of the contract. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on October 30, 2024 at 1:30 pm at the wastewater treatment plant, 1 West Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is Mandatory Prospective bidders may address inquiries to Brian Thomas through the Bid Express website. All inquiries must be submitted no later than 10:00 AM on November 4, 2024 . The project is located within the City of Perrysburg corporation limits and is thereby eligible for City Income Tax collection. The Engineer’s Estimate for the project is $8,000,000.00 The City reserves the right reject any and all bids; and reserves the right to accept or reject any and all optional bids offered; and reserves the right to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
