City of Bowling Green ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS LEGAL NOTICE July 8, 2026 The following items will be discussed at the meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals. The Board will meet in the City Administrative Services Building at 305 North Main Street, Bowling Green, Ohio at 7:00 p.m. on the above date. The application and drawing are available for inspection by contacting the Planning Department at (419) 354-6218 or by email at planning@bgohio.gov. VARIANCE REQUESTS Dan Abdo, of Joseph Development, has requested a variance to allow the construction of an 18 feet 8-inch-tall commercial building, which would not meet the minimum 25 feet structure height required in the Commercial District (C) by 6 feet 4 inches at 1187 South Main Street. Patric Shei, of Vandaco Signs, has requested a variance to allow the construction of a 6 foot by 12 foot monument sign, which would exceed the 64 square foot maximum monument sign area by 8 square feet at 1058, 1060, 1062, 1064, 1066, 1068, 1070 and 1072 North Main Street (commercial plaza). Alan Davis, 1723 Wexford Drive, has requested a variance to allow the construction of a 9 foot by 33-foot driveway extension (widening), which would be 5 feet wider than the maximum width allowed based on the width of the 20-foot-wide garage to which it leads.
