LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE TO OWNERS OF LAND AFFECTED BY A PROPOSED DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT JOHN WONDERLY DITCH #2487 LOCATED IN PERRY TOWNSHIP, WOOD COUNTY The Wood County Engineer filed in the office of the Wood County Commissioners, the reports, plans and schedules in the above named improvement as petitioned to locate, clean, remove brush, debris and obstructions from, construct, reconstruct, straighten, deepen, widen, alter, box, tile, fill, wall, or arch any ditch, drain, watercourse, floodway, creek, run, or river, to change the course, location, or terminus thereof, to construct a levee, wall, embankment, jetty, dike, dam, sluice, revetment, reservoir, holding basin, control gate, breakwater, or other structure for control of water. The following is the course and termini of the proposed improvement: Being the course of an existing ditch situated in Section 1, 12, and 13, Town 3 North, Range 12 East, Perry Township, Wood County, Ohio and described as follows: MAIN BRANCH: Beginning on the centerline of an existing ditch near the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 13; thence, northerly, approximately 2,555 feet, along the centerline of the ditch, crossing under Switzer Road, to a point of deflection; thence, easterly, approximately 1,304 feet, continuing along the centerline of the ditch, to a point of deflection; thence, northerly, approximately 2,641 feet, continuing along the centerline of the ditch, to a point of deflection; thence, easterly, approximately 1,277 feet, continuing along the centerline of the ditch under the railroad, to the centerline of a ditch on the west side of United States Route 23 (Fostoria Road), said ditch flows northerly; thence, northerly, approximately 1,326 feet, continuing along the centerline of the ditch and an existing culvert, crossing under West Millgrove Road, to an existing catch basin; thence, northerly, approximately 1,917 feet, through a 36 inch concrete pipe, to the northerly end of the concrete pipe and to the centerline of the ditch; thence, northwesterly, approximately 491 feet, along the centerline of the ditch, to a point of deflection; thence, northerly, approximately 1,115 feet, continuing along the centerline of the ditch, to a point of deflection; thence, easterly, approximately 242 feet, continuing along the centerline of the ditch, to a point of deflection; thence, northerly, approximately 610 feet, continuing along the centerline of the ditch, to the intersection with an east-west ditch, said intersection being the TERMINUS POINT of the proposed ditch improvement. The distance of the Main Branch is 13,478 feet, more or less, or 2.55 miles, more or less. Also including the following branch: BRANCH NO. 1: Commencing at the southeast corner of the southeast quarter of Section 1, Town 3 North, Range 12 East, said corner being on the centerline of West Millgrove Road; thence, westerly, approximately 2,156 feet, along the centerline of West Millgrove Road; thence, northerly, approximately 20 feet, to the westerly end of the centerline of an existing northerly roadside ditch of West Millgrove Road, said westerly end being the POINT OF BEGINNING of Branch No. 1 of the proposed ditch improvement; thence, easterly, approximately 2,130 feet, along the centerline of the northerly roadside ditch of West Millgrove Road, to the centerline of a 36 inch pipe enclosure flowing northerly, said centerline of a pipe enclosure flowing northerly being the TERMINUS POINT of Branch No. 1 of the proposed ditch improvement. The distance of Branch No. 1 is 2,130 feet, more or less, or 0.40 miles, more or less. The total distance of the proposed ditch improvement is 15, 608 feet, more or less, or 2.96 miles, more or less. The legal description is based upon the assumption the northerly line of the northeast quarter of Section 13 and the centerline of Switzer Road bears due WEST.
