PROCLAMATION NOTICE OF PRIMARY ELECTION REV.CODE SEC. 3501.03 The Board of Elections of Wood County, Ohio, issues this Proclamation and Notice of Election. A PRIMARY ELECTION WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, the 5th day of MAY 2026 , (the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May) at the usual places of holding elections in each and every precinct throughout said County or at such places as the Board may designate, for the purpose of choosing the following officers: Nominate Party Candidates for the following offices : Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Auditor of State, Secretary of State, Treasurer of State, U.S. Congress (5th & 9th District), Judge of Court of Appeals(6th District), Justice of the Supreme Court, U.S. Senate, State Central Committee, Ohio House of Representatives (44th & 75th District), Judge of Court of Common Pleas, Judge of Probate Court, County Commissioner, County Auditor Select members of the controlling committees for the Democratic and Republican political parties. And determining the following questions and issues: Milton Township – Tax Levy, Lake Township Road District – Tax Levy, Northwest Wood Ambulance District – Tax Levy, Otsego Local School District – Income Tax, Local Liquor Option – Sunday Sales (PCT 300), Local Liquor Option – Sunday Sale (PCT 700), Local Liquor Option – Sunday Sales (Pct 893) The Polls for the Election will open at 6:30 A.M. and remain open until 7:30 P.M. of said day.
