Ordinance No. 9392 Passed October 19, 2026 Emergency Clause Adopted October 19, 2026 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATOR AND THE UTILITIES DIRECTOR TO SIGN AN LPA AGREEMENT WITH THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (ODOT) AND TO REQUEST QUALIFICATIONS AND TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS AND ENTER INTO CONTRACTS FOR DESIGN, ENGINEERING, RIGHT OF WAY ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION, AND OTHER SERVICES RELATING TO THE WOOSTER STREET AND DUNBRIDGE ROAD ROUNDABOUT PROJECT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOWLING GREEN, OHIO THAT: SECTION 1 : The Municipal Administrator and Utilities Director is hereby authorized to sign an LPA agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and to request qualifications and to advertise for bids and enter into a contract or contracts for design, engineering, right of way acquisition, construction, and other services relating to the Wooster Street and Dunbridge Road Roundabout Project. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect as an emergency measure. The reason for the emergency is that the prompt effectiveness of this measure is necessary in order to maintain the project schedule, and thereby protect the public health, safety and well-being of our citizens.
