City of Bowling Green ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS LEGAL NOTICE April 8, 2026
The following items will be discussed at the meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals. The Board will meet in the City Administrative Services Building at 305 North Main Street, Bowling Green, Ohio at 7:00 p.m. on the above date. The application and drawing are available for inspection by contacting the Planning Department at (419) 354-6218 or by email at planning@bgohio.gov.
VARIANCE REQUESTS
Emmanuel Tembo, 800 Longford Drive, has requested a variance to allow the construction of a 9.5 foot by 27-foot driveway extension (widening), which is 4.5 feet wider than the maximum width allowed based on the width of the 22 foot wide garage to which it leads. Neil Gearhart, has requested a variance to allow the construction of a 2-unit dwelling, which would encroach 2 feet into the 15 foot average front yard setback to the east (corner lot setback variance would be from the front yard setback from Elm Street only) and 10 feet into the 20 foot rear yard setback to the west at 624 Fourth Street (2 vacant parcels, zoned UR University Related Residential).
