Multi Building Mechanical Systems Upgrade Project Bids will be received by the Wood County Commissioners at their offices located at One Courthouse Square, Bowling Green, Ohio until 2:00 p.m. on January 29, 2026, and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Work will consist of removing and replacing RTU’s through-out the Wood County buildings located at the Gypsy Lane Complex. Work will include but not be limited to providing the crane for various locations, installing a min split at the JRC building, disconnecting the old RTU units and salvaging them, then installing new RTU units, testing and balancing as well as disconnecting and reconnecting controls of each unit is also required. Replacements of RTU’s will need to be done such that each building has limited down time and/or vacancy time. In some cases, minor duct repair or replacement/coordination is required as well. In addition to this being the major portion of the project, two valves in the jail mechanical will also need to be replaced. The estimate of probable cost for this project is $525,000.00 The contract documents, including plans and specifications will be available to Contractors Saturday, January 10th 2026. A mandatory prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at Wood County Fueling Station Facility Offices, 1934 E. Gypsy Lane Rd., Bowling Green, Ohio, at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16th, 2026. All Requests for Information (RFI) and questions must be e-mailed to Greg Wright at
gwright@dynamicmep.com by Thursday, January 22nd, 2026 by 1:00 p.m. No substitutions are allowed unless there has been written approval prior to the bid due date. A copy of our RFI form is included in the specification manual and can also be found on the Wood County Website. All bids must be signed and submitted on copies or originals of the blanks which are bound in the contract documents. Bids must state the prices in the blanks provided and be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked –

Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid guaranty which may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.)
2. A certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit in favor of the Wood County Commissioners, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. If the contract is awarded a Contract Bond will be required, which is a one hundred percent (100%) payment and performance bond. Bidders shall submit with their bid the affidavit required under R.C. 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Wood County, Ohio. The Contractor declares that its principal officers, directors, shareholders and/or partners are current with any court-ordered child support payments pursuant to the Board of County Commissioners’ Resolution No. 92-2041. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond or check, will neither be read nor considered. The Board of County Commissioners may reject any or all of the bids. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any irregularities in the form of the bid that do not affect or destroy competitive bidding. In no case will an award be made until all necessary investigations are made as to the qualifications of the bidder to whom it is proposed to award the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
